Job Title: Administrative Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Reports to: Clinic Manager
We are seeking a professional, organized Registered Nurse to deliver clinical support to psychiatrists and manage day-to-day administrative operations at the reception desk. The ideal candidate blends clinical competence with excellent administrative skills and a calm, empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing support to psychiatrists during assessments and follow-ups (prepare patients, observe, and report clinical observations).
- Take, record, and upload vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, weight) into the (EMR) accurately and timely.
- Manage front-desk administrative duties: booking, rescheduling, and canceling appointments; patient check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle billing at reception (processing payments, issuing receipts) and coordinate with billing/finance as needed.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies and UAE regulations.
- Triage incoming patient enquiries through phone or emails, escalating clinical issues to psychiatrists or senior staff when required.
- Ensure clinical readiness: stock basic clinical supplies, monitor clinical equipment, and maintain a tidy, professional reception environment.
- Participate in clinic meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold patient privacy, infection control, and professional standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification (BSc/Diploma in Nursing) with active DHA license or clear eligibility to obtain DHA licensure.
- Valid RN registration/certificate from an appropriate authority.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinical setting; prior exposure to psychiatry/mental health administration is highly advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy: experience with EMR/scheduling systems and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to handle confidential patient information sensitively.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in a busy clinic environment.
