Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Dubai, DIFC, United Arab Emirates

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As a Junior Accountant in our Dubai DIFC office, you will support the finance team in delivering high‑quality financial information and maintaining strong financial controls.
What The Day Will Look Like
As a Junior Accountant, you will:
- Support the finance team in day‑to‑day accounting and finance activities
- Assist with monitoring deposits and posting them accurately and on time in the broking system
- Assist in the timely posting of payments, both fiduciary and non‑fiduciary
- Process employee expense reports and ensure they comply with company policy
- Prepare and enter basic intercompany transactions for review and approval
- Support the preparation of regulatory submissions and required documentation
- Assist with preparation and coordination of internal and external audits
- Prepare and update assigned balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Support general ledger vs. technical ledger reconciliation activities
- Help maintain general ledger accounts, including preparing basic journal entries for accruals, amortizations and other month‑end entries under supervision
- Maintain accurate record keeping and filing of finance documents in the Finance folder
- Perform other day‑to‑day finance tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit (internships and traineeships can be included)
- Experience with financial accounting, controllership support, or external audit is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
- Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CMA, CPA) achieved or in progress is an advantage
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team and communicate effectively in English
