
Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons that align with the school’s curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, educational materials, and assessments that are age-appropriate and linguistically accessible.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including high achievers and those needing additional support.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations.
- Assess, evaluate, and track student progress using formative and summative methods.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on students’ assignments and assessments.
- Utilize technology and modern teaching aids to enhance instructional delivery.
- Contribute to department planning, curriculum development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, staff development programs, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Ensure GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, (Master’s preferred).
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset but not required.
- Experience teaching Islamic Studies to non-Arabic speakers.
- Strong knowledge of Islamic principles from authentic sources.
- Ability to explain complex Islamic concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
