Job Description

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for optimizing sales and distribution strategies to expand market share and meet set targets. You will oversee all operational and commercial aspects, ensuring brand establishment and high customer satisfaction levels. Your goal is to achieve the company’s business development plans and objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans to accommodate company goals.
  • Build effective relationship with the clients to maintain good revenue increase for the skincare unit.
  • Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day operations.
  • Formulate, coordinate, and realize the commercial objectives, as well as the strategic and operational marketing and sales activities, as part of the business plan, to meet the organization’s objectives regarding market positioning, sales, market share and efficiency in the short, medium, and long term.
  • Plan, execute and monitor effectively potential new product launches, being the leading individual.
  • Maintains and increases revenue for existing and targeted accounts through managing the entire sales, marketing, and business development cycle.
  • Hold accountability and responsibility for allocated financial planning (Financial Plan, Focus/Update, Forecast, Expenditures, etc).
  • Deliver sales and financial goals while ensuring all expenses within budgets.
  • Responsible for assessing and introducing new business ranges/ categories.
  • Lead and manage professional communication with principal / brand owner.
  • Collaborate with division team members and other function teams (Sales, Regulatory, Finance, Supply chain) to assure optimal implementation of brand services.
  • Responsible for receivables collection on day to day operations

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Equivalent Experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in the same position and 10 years in pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven records of sales achievements & achieving targets in agile environment

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Job Specific: Great leadership and managerial experience and analytical skills.
  • Generic Skills: strong interpersonal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking skills.

FINANCIALS & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:

  • Financial Scope: Group and Area sales targets.
  • Reporting Staff: District Manager,Business Analyst, Key Account Manager, Sales Supervisors, Sales Coordinator
  • Decision-Making Authority: Sales related as per agreed range of authority with the management.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & COMMUNICATION:

  • Working Environment: Office based
  • Internal Relationships: Pharma Team, Warehouse, Support functions
  • External Relationships: Clinics, Principles, Hospitals, PHCs, Pharmacies and wholesalers, MOH, SEHA, DHA, suppliers
