Job Description

Research project on AI-driven multimodal prediction and personalized prevention of Type 2 Diabetes, in collaboration with the University of Melbourne. We are recruiting a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher. The project combines medical imaging, electronic health records, and genomic/genetic data, leveraging LLMs and VLMs to generate patient-specific risks explanations. We are looking for expertise in one or more of the following:

  • AI-Driven Medical Imaging
  • Multimodal learning (vision, text, biomedical data)
  • LLMs & VLMs It is required that the candidate had strong records of publications in Q1 journals (Scopus-indexed) in one or more of the above areas. The Postdoctoral Researcher will join a leading University and work with an international, interdisciplinary team on cutting-edge AI, contribute to societal impact-driven research, and publish strong papers in Q1 journals and top-tier conferences. Minimum Qualification

  • PhD in Computer Science/AI, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines – Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas: AI-Driven Medical Imaging, Multimodal learning (vision, text, biomedical data), LLMs & VLMs – Strong records of publications in Q1 journals (Scopus-indexed) in one or more of the above areas – Strong writing and communication skills – Team player

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in Explainable AI (XAI) interpretable models for clinical decision support is a plus
