King’s College Hospital London in Dubai is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead – Coding & Audit to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of medical coding and audit processes, directly impacting the hospital’s financial performance and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
•     Lead and manage the coding and audit team to ensure timely and accurate coding of clinical documentation.
•     Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS standards.
•     Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve coding discrepancies and improve documentation quality.
•     Develop and implement coding policies, procedures, and training programs.
•     Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in coding accuracy and audit outcomes.
•     Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices in medical coding and billing.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
•     Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field (preferred).
•     Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), CPC, or equivalent certification is required.
•     Minimum 5 years of experience in medical coding, with at least 2 years in a leadership or audit role.
•     Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
•     Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and coding software.
•     Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
