Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about advancements in pathology and medical research
- Oversee the cytopathology service department and laboratory operations
- Analyze blood samples for transfusions, including blood type compatibility and cell morphology
- Conduct gross examinations and provide anatomical pathology services as needed
- Ensure proper collection, handling, and processing of all laboratory specimens
- Accurately log and document laboratory test data, integrating results into patient records
- Deliver comprehensive written evaluations and diagnoses for each case
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Pathology
- Proven experience as a Pathologist or in a similar role
- Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in pathology
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
