Job Overview:
The Radiology Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring high-quality imaging services, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow.
This role involves managing a team of radiologic technologists, coordinating with physicians and healthcare professionals, and optimizing resources to enhance patient care. Radiology Manager ensures quality patient care, maintains compliance with industry regulations and standards, and implements best practices to improve departmental efficiency and performance.

Key Accountabilities:

• Supervise and manage radiology staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
• Ensure quality patient care by developing, implementing, and evaluating processes and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, as well as safety and quality standards.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, including monitoring spending, analysing financial data, and making recommendations for cost-saving measures.
• Oversee the procurement and maintenance of radiology equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and departments to coordinate patient care and services.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to practices, equipment, and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate departmental performance metrics and make changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure patient confidentiality is always observed and abide by the Data Protection Act.
• Handle first line complaints diplomatically and provide necessary paperwork/statements as required by line manager in line with the policy.
• To be familiar with, understand and apply the principles of Radiation Safety, both nationally and locally regulated or protocol led.

Education and Qualification:

• UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a Radiography, Radiology Technology, Medical/Diagnostic Imaging program
• 5 years minimum experience in Radiology and at least 2 years in a Managerial role
