Job Overview
The Healthcare Administrator and Patient Relationship Officer will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. The role combines administrative efficiency with exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain patient satisfaction, handle inquiries, and support clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients to ensure a positive experience and encourage repeat visits.
- Coordinate patient care plans, follow-ups, and appointments to enhance the continuity of care.
- Address patient complaints promptly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary.
Administrative Duties
- Manage front-desk operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and billing.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in line with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor clinic supplies, equipment, and resources, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with the clinical team to streamline workflows and ensure efficient clinic operations.
Operational Support
- Develop and implement processes to improve the patient journey, from initial contact to post-treatment follow-up.
- Support the Clinic Director in operational planning and reporting.
- Ensure the clinic complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Communication & Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between patients and clinical staff, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote services, gather patient testimonials, and increase clinic visibility.
- Participate in team meetings, providing insights into patient satisfaction and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in a similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of patient relationship management and healthcare operations.
- Familiarity with clinic management software is a plus.
