About the Job

We are seeking passionate and experienced General Ophthalmologists as well as Specialist Ophthalmologists with expertise in one or more subspecialties: Cornea & Refractive Surgery, Retina, Oculoplasty, or Pediatric Ophthalmology.

The role includes the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic diseases and conditions, as well as the delivery of medical and surgical eye care, in line with current medical bylaws, regulations, and our facility’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide required patient care and management in Ophthalmology in accordance with the highest standards of medical care.

• Deliver high-quality care in all aspects of Ophthalmic Surgery within the scope of approved clinical privileges.

• Admit patients, initiate diagnostic investigations, and document findings appropriately.

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans or surgical interventions based on patient conditions.

• Ensure appropriate patient preparation for procedures or surgeries and perform interventions as per clinical privileges.

• Follow up on diagnostic results for both inpatients and outpatients, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Qualifications

• FRCS, MD, or equivalent degree in Ophthalmology from a recognized medical institution.

• Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in Ophthalmology.

• Fully licensed and in good standing in country of origin.

• DHA license or eligibility is a must

• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.

• Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred.
