Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon (UK CCT) – Dubai

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon with UK CCT and a minimum of 3 years post-CCT experience to join a leading tertiary healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves providing advanced surgical care for adult cardiothoracic patients within a well-established, multidisciplinary surgical team. Training and experience within Western healthcare systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of adult cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including cardiac and thoracic surgeries
• Manage pre-operative assessment, operative care, and post-operative follow-up
• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, including cardiac surgery and cardiology conferences
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthetists, intensivists, and nursing teams
• Ensure adherence to international clinical standards, patient safety, and best practices
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in line with DHA regulations
• Participate in on-call rotas as required
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

• UK CCT in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Minimum 3 years post-CCT consultant-level experience
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure (or currently licensed)
• Strong operative experience in cardiothoracic surgery
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
