
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Candela laser and aesthetic systems.
- Calibrate devices according to manufacturer specifications and healthcare regulations.
- Provide technical support for clinical teams, including training users on proper device handling and safety.
- Maintain accurate service records, including preventive maintenance logs and repair histories.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, FDA regulations, and Candela service standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for parts procurement and warranty claims.
- Participate in facility audits and inspections related to medical device operations.
- Stay current with technological advancements and new products within the Candela portfolio.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Candela Service Certification
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience working with medical aesthetic or laser devices in GCC.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and optical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clinical staff and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional brands of medical aesthetic equipment
- Familiarity with hospital or outpatient clinic environments.
- Additional certifications (e.g., CBET – Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician).
