Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Candela laser and aesthetic systems.
  • Calibrate devices according to manufacturer specifications and healthcare regulations.
  • Provide technical support for clinical teams, including training users on proper device handling and safety.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including preventive maintenance logs and repair histories.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, FDA regulations, and Candela service standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for parts procurement and warranty claims.
  • Participate in facility audits and inspections related to medical device operations.
  • Stay current with technological advancements and new products within the Candela portfolio.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • Candela Service Certification
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience working with medical aesthetic or laser devices in GCC.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and optical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clinical staff and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional brands of medical aesthetic equipment
  • Familiarity with hospital or outpatient clinic environments.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., CBET – Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician).
