Job Description

Job Summary – Responsible for Sales with technical expertise, application support, and training for Point of care diagnostic product lines. The role involves driving Sales , assisting in installations, troubleshooting, and delivering customer training for Point of care diagnostic analyzers at critical care, physician clinics and laboratories. The Sales/Application Specialist engages with customers to generate new sales leads and ensure product performance and satisfaction, offering pre- and post-sales support.

Job Responsibility –

  • Generate New sales leads for Point of care diagnostics and engage in activities to enable maximum market penetration and coverage.
  • Develop and implement action plans to support the installation and setup of new equipment. Provide operator training and application support to customers to ensure proper use of diagnostic and laboratory consumable products, improving product acceptance and customer satisfaction.
  • Discuss the clinical significance of assays with customers, explaining product functionality and interpreting QA/audit reports. Work closely with customers to enhance their knowledge of the product lines.
  • Plan and execute customer support activities, providing on-site or remote troubleshooting for product or assay-related issues. Ensure that customer complaints are resolved efficiently using the organization’s escalation process.
  • Provide field support across United Arab Emirates. Establish and maintain effective communication with internal teams, including OneHealth Sales & Service staff, principals, and key channel partners to align product and service efforts.
  • Work closely with product management teams to offer pre- and post-sales support within the IVD & Life science portfolio. Provide feedback to the product management team based on customer needs and competitive analysis to improve product offerings.
  • Create and implement comprehensive application training programs for customers, focusing on maximizing performance and quality. Ensure that training activities result in higher customer confidence in department’s products.
  • Assist with product launch activities by supporting the marketing and sales teams with technical information and conducting product demonstrations. Actively monitor and report on the effectiveness of product launches.
  • Support new and existing customers with assay validation processes and provide assistance with accreditation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep accurate records of all training activities and regularly monitor the effectiveness of these sessions. Continuously improve training methodologies based on customer feedback and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance your own knowledge and share expertise across departments. Support internal efforts by contributing to skill development and knowledge sharing. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in laboratory or point of care diagnostics.

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Sales, product management, application support, or technical sales in general diagnostics or Point of care testing devices.
