
Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years UAE experience in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of supply chain operations, regulatory compliance, industry best practices, and financial management to support data-driven decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
Position Summary: The Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in driving the company’s sales and marketing strategy, managing a team of Medical and Sales Representatives, and overseeing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Development
· Structure, build, and lead a high-performing sales team.
· Set clear roles, goals, and KPIs.
· Mentor and support Medical Reps, including client presentations.
· Identify training needs to enhance team capabilities.
2. Sales Strategy & Target Setting
· Set and align sales targets with company objectives.
· Develop and execute strategies for market growth, pricing, and positioning.
· Monitor KPIs, adjust plans based on performance data.
· Design incentive programs to drive performance.
· Ensure payments are collected as per company policy.
3. Operational Oversight
· Manage day-to-day sales operations, including inventory and order flow.
· Track stock forecasts, notify Finance of shortages, and ensure timely collections.
· Control sales-related costs and expenses within budget.
4. Budgeting & Financial Collaboration
· Analyze past performance to forecast future sales.
· Work with Finance to align sales budgets with company goals.
· Ensure financial plans are data-driven and realistic.
5. Market & Competitor Analysis
· Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
· Develop plans to grow market share and support product development initiatives.
6. Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Ensure high customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
7. Regulatory Compliance
· Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with UAE pharmaceutical regulations.
· Stay informed on industry standards and legal updates.
Job Specifications:
1. Education: Degree in a relevant field such as biology, chemistry, or pharmacology.
2. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role in the pharmaceutical industry in UAE.
3. Other requirements: Valid UAE driving license and own car
4. Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English. Arabic is an advantage.
