Description
The Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures across various disciplines including but not limited to hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to quality control standards, and accurate result reporting. The Lab Technologist will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
Adhere to strict quality control and assurance protocols.
Document and report test results in a timely and accurate manner.
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology/Laboratory Science or equivalent.
Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or DHA eligibility letter is MANDATORY.
Proven experience as a Lab Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
Proficiency in various laboratory disciplines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
