We are currently looking for a Respiratory Therapist who will join our Team :

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Monitoring:

• Set up and monitor sleep studies, including polysomnography (PSG), home sleep apnea testing (HSAT), and other sleep-related tests.

• Attach electrodes and sensors to patients to record physiological data during sleep.

2. Data Collection and Analysis:

• Collect and analyze data related to sleep patterns, respiratory events, and other physiological parameters.

• Interpret the results of sleep studies and provide reports for medical professionals.

3. Equipment Maintenance:

• Calibrate and maintain sleep monitoring equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with monitoring devices.

4. Patient Education:

• Explain sleep study procedures to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have.

• Instruct patients on the proper use of home sleep testing equipment, if applicable.

5. Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals:

• Work closely with physicians, sleep specialists, and other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

• Provide recommendations based on sleep study results to contribute to treatment plans.

6. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, sleep study data, and other relevant documentation.

• Ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.

7. Stay Informed:

• Stay updated on advancements in sleep medicine, technology, and industry best practices.

• Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

8. Patient Care:

• Monitor patients during sleep studies to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Respond to emergencies or unusual events during sleep studies.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) is a MUST
• DHA licensed Respiratory Therapist
• Worked in a hospital setting that specializes in Sleep studies.
• Two (2) years of experience post qualification in a related field.
