Key Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in the clinic.
• Perform comprehensive assessments (physical, developmental, psychosocial) for every child.
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and other treatments accurately per physician orders.
• Develop individualised care plans in partnership with paediatricians and families.
• Educate parents and caregivers on childhood illnesses, vaccines, growth milestones, and preventive care.
• Maintain precise documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Conduct thorough SBAR handovers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Help manage clinic flow and coordinate follow-up appointments or referrals.
• Keep the environment child-friendly, safe, and welcoming for kids and their families.
• Comply with infection-control measures, safety standards, and all DOH regulations—always.

Job Requirements

✔️ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution

✔️ Licence: Valid DOH Abu Dhabi RN licence—or eligibility to obtain one

✔️ Experience: Minimum 2 years in a paediatric outpatient clinic

✔️ Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families

✔️ Clinical competency: Confident in paediatric immunisations and routine child-health assessments

✔️ Certifications: Current BLS and PALS
