Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vision tests and eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose and manage refractive errors, ocular diseases, and other vision conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and vision therapy.
• Educate patients on eye care, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for patient referrals when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
• Valid MOH license.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Optometrist in retail setting- Experience in multinational retail preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ocular diseases, refraction techniques, and contact lens fitting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
