Job Title : Junior Accountant

Location : Dubai

Job Type : Full time

Overview : We are looking for an experienced, detailed oriented and motivated junior accountant to assist Accounting Department of Lux Holiday Home. The Accountant will be responsible to support the team by ensuring that all financial records and reporting is up to standard, and has been updated and maintained on a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Manage and maintain financial records, including ledgers and journals
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Process invoices, expenses and other financial reports.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting process

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in accounting to finance
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficient in accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft excel
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced team environment under pressure
