About The Job

  • To oversee the Accounting and purchasing department in the hotel and ensure its smooth running so that all financial and management reports are accurate and available by their due dates.
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and reviewed every month and discrepancies are immediately identified and corrected.
  • Establish strong cash management controls, prepare monthly cash flow forecasts, and recommend actions accordingly.
  • Direct and lead the process for preparation of annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts; establish and/or recommend to management major economic objectives and policies for the hotel.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders on capex planning and execution including proper accounting, ROI analysis and post-investment reviews.

About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Must have worked at least 7-9 years in a finance role . Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Professional accounting accreditation such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CGMA, CMA
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce/business/accounting or similar
  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud, ERP solutions such as Oracle / SAP is desirable
