Plans, organizes, coordinates the activities of decontamination, cleaning, assembling and packaging and selecting correct process (steam or chemical sterilization) to ensure integrity and prevent damage to rigid instruments, power instruments, flexible scope and any surgical instrument being used.  Sterile processing and the storage and distribution of supplies utilized in patient care areas both in-patient and out-patient.
